Emiliano Styles
EMILIANO STYLES is a multimedia artist and the co-founder of production company Soulploitation Creative Works, LLC. He currently holds the position of video producer, editor, and creative technologist at Billboard, where he helps shape cutting-edge music storytelling and brand-integrated content across digital platforms.
A cum laude graduate of Tennessee State University, Emiliano earned his B.A. in Mass Communications & Theatre, with minors in English and Africana Studies. He also holds a Master of Science in Teaching (MST) degree from Pace University.
An artistic educator and guerrilla filmmaker, Emiliano has worked professionally as both an artist and a high school literacy teacher in Brooklyn, NY. He has written, directed, filmed, and edited numerous short films showcased at festivals nationwide, and has edited hundreds of videos as a freelance videographer/editor. His editor credits include work featured on Max (Rap Sh!t Season 2), VH1 (Love & Hip Hop), Disney+ (various promos), Paramount+ (The Game Reboot Seasons 1 & 2), Discovery+ (Hungry for Answers), and Bravo (The Real Housewives of Dallas and Miami).
He co-produced, directed, filmed, and edited the travel web series World Wide Nate, which evolved into the television show World Wide Nate: African Adventures (The Africa Channel), filmed across six countries and twelve cities in Africa. He also directed, filmed, and edited Heritage Journey, a short-form docuseries produced by Soul Society 101 and The Points Guy, profiled by The New York Times following host Rondel Holder’s DNA-based travel experience across Africa.
Emiliano has created branded sports content with Nike, LeBron James, and Carmelo Anthony, and edited campaigns for T-Mobile, Microsoft, the NFL, and Amazon. He is a 2025 Film Independent Project Involve Editing Fellow and he continues to expand his creative voice through a growing slate of television, video, and creative projects slated for release in 2026.
